pearl jam

I haven’t seriously listened to Pearl Jam in years. I recently grabbed their greatest hits double CD rearviewmirror. What a gem! I forgot how much these guys rock. Such well-crafted songs. It’s neat when something from your past can be fresh and current again.

firefox 1.5

Mozilla recently released a new version of its lauded web browser, Firefox.

As a web developer, one handy thing I noticed is that the Javascript console is now insanely verbose. It now reports every little darn thing it doesn’t like about a site’s Javascript and CSS. This is a great feature for helping us all have better code in our sites, and for easier web debugging.

Read a fun Wired article about how to do more with Firefox.

Download Firefox 1.5 now and join the browser revolution! :)

total health makeover

I’m taking another shot at healthy living - cutting out meat, dairy, refined sugar and caffeine. I’ve been inspired to do this by a book Krista brought home from the library: Marilu Henner’s Total Health Makeover. Don’t feel much different but it’s interesting noticing my cravings for sugar and caffeine - they’re quite strong. It’s a worthwhile experiment just noticing my body’s subconscious addictions.
